What quiet hours clause means in practice
In shared housing, noise is the most common complaint and the hardest to prove. A clause naming specific hours and specific behavior gives every resident the same reference point and gives the operator a consistent basis for a first written reminder. Local noise ordinances may set their own hours regardless of what a lease says.
