What guest policy means in practice
Without a stated limit, a long-staying guest quietly becomes an unscreened resident using the shared utilities, parking, and space that housemates are paying for. A workable policy states a night limit, who has to be told, and what happens after the limit, and it has to be applied the same way to every resident. Occupancy limits and tenancy rules vary by jurisdiction, so have local counsel review the wording.
