What per-room lease means in practice
A per-room lease gives each resident their own rent, deposit, start date, end date, and balance, so one person moving out does not end anyone else’s tenancy. In exchange, the agreement has to describe the shared space, the house rules, what the resident may keep in common areas, and what happens when the bedroom next door changes hands.
Bedroom 2 is leased to one resident for twelve months at $625 per month with shared use of the kitchen, living room, and hall bathroom.
